KnowHow2GOKy - Adults - Find financial aid

STEP 3 - FIND FINANCIAL AID
It is important to understand your options regarding financial aid to pay for college. Many different types of aid are available to finance your education and many folks want to help you make the right choice for your situation.

Financial aid applications can be complicated and adult resources are limited... start now.

Arrow Federal Options
To explore federal financial aid opportunities, complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Students must submit by March 15th to have the best chances. Your school’s deadline may be earlier, so be sure to ask.
Arrow State Options
Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) administers many grant and scholarship programs. Your FAFSA info will automatically be sent to KHEAA. You will be notified about aid qualification.
Arrow Institutional Options
Contact the scholarship office at your school for a full list of scholarships available there. Even within a campus, an academic college or department can offer scholarships, so it is best to check with your academic advisors as well.
Arrow Employers & Organizational Options
Many employers and organizations offer tuition assistance and reimbursement. Check with your human resources department.

If you would like more in-depth information on financial aid or have never applied for financial aid before, contact KHEAA at 1-800-928-8926.
